I wanted her to have an open mouth so I have to basically go back and redo a lot of her face details so her main body model got retoped slightly and bumped down again in detail. She has the beginnings of this really cute dimpled smile.
I also blocked out her armor, more fins, and I'm trying a slightly different tail fin style. I have all the fins as their own subtools so I can play around still. I realized I hadn't even touched her staff yet so I was going to block that out in maya tonight. Her hair was a happy accident in that I just forgot to turn off one of my subtools and her ponytail did this really pretty waterfall style cascade that reminds me of those feather fans you see flappers use in the 1920/30s which is the art era I'm getting a lot of my inspiration from. I loved the form and just duplicated it into a fanlike tail. She still has that soft flowy look goldfish fins have but now its got more of a style.
This is what I love about zbrush...I can just make subtools and try different looks quickly.
